Vis-a-thon 2025

The Edna W. Lawrence Nature Lab at RISD in collaboration with the RI Inclusive Network for Excellence in Science and Technology (RII-NEST) presents, The 2025 VIS-A-THON. This program is open to researchers from RII-NEST partner organizations, including the University of Rhode Island (URI), the Narragansett Indian Tribe, Brown University, Rhode Island College, Community College of Rhode Island, and Roger Williams University. VIS-A-THON takes place Friday February 28 and the weekend of March 22-23, 2025. The link below will take you to an online form with detailed submission instructions.

Collaborative Visualization Grant

All participants who complete the Vis-a-thon are eligible to submit for a Collaborative Visualization Grant. Applicants must submit a proposal that includes a collaborator outside of their own field of research. This grant is intended to help develop projects further, and promote interdisciplinary partnerships. Two $2,500 grants are awarded each year.
